Pa Ejiga died during a brief illness at the age of 98 years.
He was appointed judge of the Area Court in 1958 and served at Idah, Odogwu, Dekina, Ankpa Area Courts until 1982 when he was appointed judge of the Upper Area Court in Makurdi.
He retired at the Upper Area Court, Ankpa in 1984.
The Chief Imam of Anyigba, Mallam Isah, who prayed during the burial ceremony, described Pa Ejiga as a self-made man who lived a fulfilled life.
He said Ejiga was a prominent community leader while alive, saying his good deeds would for long be remembered.
Those who graced the burial ceremony included members of national and state Assemblies, traditional rulers and prominent citizens in the state, including former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
