Not only did they storm the Governor’s Office in their large number, they also came with different cooking utensils and, thereafter, made fire to prepare rice and beans, right in front of the governor’s office gate unhindered.
They were seen serving hot rice meal around 6.30 p.m, as policemen kept guard.
According to findings, the protesting students were said to have hijacked Lagos Bus Rapid Transit buses marked XQ 837 EPE and LRS 652 XC and other vehicles.
They also held mid-day prayers to seek divine intervention on the crisis currently facing the institution over the fee hike by the government.
The students, in a letter addressed to Governor Babatunde Fashola, a copy of which was made available to newsmen, said the hike in school fees had taken education beyond their reach.
