Super-tall Jade Slavin is having the last laugh at school bullies who made cruel jibes about her height as she mixes a catwalk career with Olmpic training.
At school the Amazonian beauty was teased over her 6ft 2in stature, but now they would risk a kicking if they messed with the promising taekwondo athlete.
"It was hard at school and I used to get bullied a few times for being tall and skinny," said Jade.
"I wasn't badly bullied and it was more verbal abuse."
"But that's one of the reasons I got into taekwondo because my dad thought it would be a good idea to learn how to defend myself," she added.

And now the university graduate, who started aekwondo when she was nine, has become one of Britain’s best exponents of the ancient Korean martial art and is hoping to make it onto the British Olympic team.
"A friend of my dad's friends did it and one day I bumped in to him and he had his taekwondo suit (dobok) on," she said.
"I was like 'dad, what is he doing? Why he is he wearing that suit?' Dad just said he does taekwondo, like the Bruce Lee films. I just wanted to have a go straight away and I loved it."
“I started modelling to boost my confidence and prove people wrong. Hopefully, I am doing that now”

But her talents don't stop there. The 21-years-old is the epitome of an all-rounder as she effortlessly mixes brawn, brains and beauty.
Her height, which she once saw as a curse, has helped her get into the modelling world and she is currently signed with Manchester agency, Maverick Models.
"I began modelling when I was 11, sending photos to agencies, but it wasn't until I was about 16 when things started to roll," she said.

Jade, from Beswick, also entered her first beauty pageants last year, reaching the final of Miss Sunderland and the grand final of Miss Earth.
But her lengthy pins will be seeing less of the catwalk and more of the world's taekwondo mats as she chases her Olympic dream for the next 18 months.
"I am signed up to Maverick Models but I really haven't done too much work yet," she said.
"I want to focus on my taekwondo, plus the castings are usually during the week when I have training."
