--Former Flying Eagles star in stable conditionRave-making former Nigeria junior international,Michael Olaitan caused a scare Sunday in Greece when he collapsed on the field during his club,Olympiakos' 3-0 loss to bitter rivals Panathinaikos in a Greek Super League game.
According to reports,Olaitan suddenly collapsed in the 35th minute of the ill-tempered match which saw the home team lose its 27-match unbeaten league run.
The Nigerian,overlooked by Super Eagles gaffer,Stephen Keshi for Wednesday's international friendly match against Mexico in Atlanta,Georgia,USA despite being one of Nigeria's most prolific strikers in Europe in the last two months was immediately taken to hospital.He was conscious when taken off on a stretcher.
